This will open up the images into full resolution (much better then the compressed ones that show smaller by default).Incredible design, very space age style with amazing sculptural lines no matter what the viewing angle. Just look at the top grain pattern, its stunning! The desk is well made and comprised both solid teakwood and teakwood veneer. The top work surface is suspended above two full width storage ledge areas that are both deep enough to store books, magazines, paper trays etc. The ledges are divided at the middle running the entire width so whatever you place on the ledge on the sitting side will side will be hidden from view on the bookshelf side and visa versa. Below the ledge you have a display / bookshelf on the front and SIX pull out drawers on the sitting side. Top drawers each lock and the original key is included. These drawers offer a TON of storage as they run the full depth of the desk.If you want a really really cool piece that departs from the bulk of vintage Danish teak desks out there, look no further. Chair shown in some of the pics is NOT included. Very low start price for a piece like this and , so have fun!measurements and conditionOverall 53 3/8” wide by 29 3/4\" deep by 29 1/2” high. The interior of each drawer is 12 5/8” wide by 21 3/4” deep by 2 5/8” height. The seat area opening clearance is 19 5/8” wide. The shelf ledges each provide 46\" width and 11\"34\" depth. The display / bookshelf on the front is 19/5/8\" by 7 3/8\" deep by 10 5/8\" high. Overall beautiful condition for the age. Some small expected marks here and there. Top was refinished and looks outstanding. There is one little burn mark that the refinish could not remove safely, but its very minor (see top view pic, its off towards the left side).shipping & pick up optionsLocal Pick Up - always free and encouragedNote: We have been experimenting with using USHIP to try and save our customers some money. Larger items that require special packaging may take a little longer. Unlike many sellers, we do not just loosely toss your items in a used old “soft” box and send it on its way destined to be damaged. We take GREAT CARE and expense in both money and time in packing your piece. We use 99% new materials (all produced from recycled sources) and pack the right way every time (it’s not at all uncommon for a small furniture piece to take us 2+ hours to pack).
