Circa 1950\'s Hanukkah Menorah
Solid BrassStands 8.5\" Tall / 7.75\" Long / 2.75\" DeepHandmade and hand-painted in Jerusalem - 1953-1959Multiple colors
Though small in size, the Hanukkah Menorah is great in meaning.FEATURES:
Eight cups for the eight days of Hanukkah.Two brass doors at the center swing open to reveal two tablets with the Ten Commandments written in Hebrew.Arising from each back side are two Lions of Judah grasping the Ten Commandments...and the Shamash sits atop one Lion\'s head. Above the tablets of the Ten Commandments is a lovely crowned arch with the symbols of the twelve tribes of Israel.
This Hanukkah Menorah has it all, the symbolism, beauty and it is in fine functional condition. It would make a nice wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or housewarming gift.
Since we are downsizing and no longer host holiday get-togethers, it is time to pass the menorah to another family!
