You are offerdingon a 1950sKaiser 6781 desklamp. The lampshade is made ofsheetmetal lacquered charcoal grey on the outside and white on the inside tomaximise light reflection. There is one bulb casing. Thecurved stem ismade of a brass rod fitted with a jointonits topendtoallow for adjustments of the lampshade. Thebase ismade of cast ironwith asheet metal cover lacquered charcoal grey. The original switch isplaced on the base.

The lamp is invery good conditionand in full working order. There are a few age relatedmarks and scratches on the grey lacquer work. The lamp has been taken apart, cleaned ,rewired and earthed. However, these do notinterfere with the overall look of the piece. The lamptakes one ES E14(small size European Edison screw fit) bulb. It is fitted with a UK plug. Aswith all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by aqualified electrician.
