AMAZING FOOTBALL PRESS MEDIA only issued for the the 1952 DALLAS TEXANS NFL team! One year disaster and NFL had to step in and save the franchise and re-scheduled home game to Rubber Bowl in Akron Ohio for a home game! Nice condition, no writing or glue or tape or scrapbook damage SEE SCANS!. How many were there? UNKNOWN! You couldn\'t buy one and they weren\'t for the general public with very few fans at that time. Defunct team collectors probably outnumber the fans of yesteryear! COMPLETE HTF HARD TO FIND with a few wrinkles otherwise EXCELLENT COLLECTOR GRADE. NOT FOR EVERYONE- but quite a story of early vintage National Football League memorabilia, The DALLAS TEXANS were in the NFL only 1 year and that was barely! The TEXANS were taken over by the NFL in the middle of the season due to financial and lack of attendance problems in Dallas. LONG BEFORE DALLAS COWBOYS or the AFL team Dallas Texans-now Kansas City CHiefs since 1963. Dallas Texans 1952 played home game vs Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving November 27- in AKRON BOWL in Akron Ohio! Players said coach told them to go out and shake hands with all the fans- there were so FEW!!!! George Halas- Papa Bear- coach owner and part founder of Chicago Bears was never so upset when his very good Bears team actually LOST to DALLAS that day in MAJOR UPSET! Do the research on this team. Became the Baltimore Colts after transfer by NFL after 1952 season! VERY RARE and DESIRABLE sports memorabilia from early grid iron is tough to find, they aren\'t making it anymore and probable very good investment! Baseball and hockey and basketball are much easier to find than NFL. This lot has everything going for it very small number. WAY better than a pennant or nodder bobblehead autograph from some rookie or current superstar! You won\'t be disappointed.
