This is a sterling silver plate with a commemorative coin embedded in the center from the Coronation of Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953. On the back of the coin it reads \"TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II JUNE 2ND 1953\" with a picture of a crown in center. On the front of the plate is the hallmark for the London silver manufacturer Asprey & CO. Ltd. as well as the date mark for 1952.
