Early issue Superman boxes all depicted the comic strip,not the popular live-action TV series starring George Reeves.Universal thought Reeves didn\'t have what it tookto sell boxes to kiddies, so Superman comic artistWayne Boring provided the has some light scuffing and some light rust spots. Exterior has some light scuffs and scratches as well. Interior has thermos holder and also includes original Universal thermos with cover. Thermos has a few light dings and dents around the drinking mouth area.
There is no major rusting or denting on this box.Is in extremely good condition for its age and popularity.The thermos is near mint condition.
