This is an original vintage map of the White River National Forest in Colorado published by the United States Forest Service. This map measures about 25.5\' x 22\" with a large map printed on one side and information about White River National Forest printed on the other side. The front cover panel reads:

WHITE RIVER NATIONAL FOREST of COLORADO - Rocky Mountain Region, Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture - 1955, Denver, Colorado

This map is a vintage original published by the United States Forest Service almost 60 years ago. The map itself was original published in 1947 and marked as boundaries revised in 1954 and reprinted in 1955. This map has some toning to the cover panels and a small bit of what looks like tape residue on the back cover panel. I applied a small piece of acid free paper archival tape to repair a short tear to the back cover panel. Overall condition is good.
