Here is a 1957 Genco Gypsy Grandma Fortune Teller, restored from the ground up, hundreds of hours went into this restoration and it shows. A before picture of the stripped down original cabinet included. It has a reproduction canopy, finials and balls. The dress is also an exact copy of the original dress. The top cabinet is sitting on an original pedestal base. There is a copy of the instruction/adjustment manual also included in the sale. Super, super clean inside and out. Front glass is original and contains the original decals and graphics, side pieces are new. At sometime before I acquired this someone had switch over some of the electromechanical parts to solid state, maybe for better and more consistent working of the fortune teller. I included a movie of the fortune teller working but as most of you who know this particular machine it is incredibly finicky and adjustments are made from the rear of the machine using a small tool. I made a copy of the tool in order to manually adjust her movements and will also include it with the sale. The look and feel of this fortune teller is spectacular, plugged in the inside cabinet is illuminated, after a dime is inserted the show begins, she reaches across her body with her right hand, opens up the card stack with her left hand and drops the card in the cauldron, she nods her head and her chest breathes and finally blows the patron a kiss.
