Very rare and original, 1957 Typed Letter Signed by Vice President and future President of the United States Richard Nixon via Autopen.

This outstanding, signed Letter measures approx. 7\" by 9” and is autopen signed by then Vice President Richard Nixon - this Letter is among the very earliest autopen signed Letters by a Vice-President of the United States.

The Letter is executed on the Stationary of the \"Office of the Vice President\" and is dated February 21, 1957. The text of the Letter reads in full: \"Dear Mrs. Wheatcraft: / Now that the Inauguration is over, I want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate all the work you did to help make possible our victory. / It was most thoughtful of you to send us thy list of people who were responsible for making our visit to Galion such a pleasant one, and the pictures which you enclosed will be happy reminders of that occasion. / Pat and I will recall the fine meeting we had in Galion and we want to express our gratitude to you for all that you did to make the success it was. / With every good wish, /Sincerely, / (autopen signed)Dick Nixon / Richard Nixon\"
