This listing is for a 1958 Theodore Roosevelt National Memorial Centennial Medal -So -Called Dollar Token that was made into a lariat tie. The dollar token was made for the celebration of Roosevelt\'s Centennial featuring the Roosevelt National Memorial Park in the Badlands, N.D. The token is made of bronze with a matte finish & measures approximately 38 mm in diameter. It was struck by Medallic Art Co. and designed by Ida Prokop Lee. The 36 inches long tie was never worn -just for a collector piece. I believe the coin can be removed from the tie piece if you just want the coin as a collector item as it turns in the setting. Part of the back coin reads: Theodore Roosevelt
