***My mistake, I didn\'t have the pin clasped for some ofthe pictures...I opened it so the hallmark could be seen. It really is close to the stem and it blends in nicely when wearing this piece as a pendant. Pictures 1 and 2 have the clasp closed***
This Navajo piece is in excellent condition for vintage, circa 1960\'s. The pin works great and I added a bail, so that it can be worn as a pendant, too.The bail folds back and to the side when you want to wear this piece as a brooch. (Refer to the pictures.) This piece looks very pretty as a pendant, as well as a brooch.
This rose is beautiful and has lots of detail. The dimensions are about 2 1/4\" x 1\". The turquoise in the piece is a beautiful robin\'s egg blue with a tiny bit of black matrix.
It is hallmarked: M, sterling.
