Circa 1960s 1970s Polaris semi hollow body guitar PROJECT - Made in JAPAN - in cool sunburst finish with multiple binding, in overall good condition - being sold \'as is\' as a GUITAR REPAIR PROJECT. Winner of this sale will receive exactly what is pictured: vintage Japanese Polaris hollowbody - missing the bridge, has two different types of tuners, some separation between bindings in the cutaways, pickups work - but the bridge has lower output than the neck, needs a new nut and a couple truss rod cover screws, the input jack needs a nut, and the electronics will need to be cleaned and hooked up properly. It seems that the switches and pickups work as they should, but you should assume the worst - that one pickup may need to be repaired. Cool bolt on neck with \'Japan\' stamped on the back. Rosewood board, very cool arched top and back. Once this guy is repaired - he\'ll put out some quirky and moody tones. Some scratches and dings - but overall good condition for its age.
