Vintage Museum Quality Hopi Bolo Tie From Native American Artist Phillip SekaquaptewaSterling Silver Bear Claw with Turquoise
This is an Intriguing Vintage Hopi Museum Quality Silver Bolo Tie from the native artist Phillip Sekaquaptewa. The Sterling Silver Bolo itself is shaped like a large Arrow Head with Bear Claw impressions. A very fine, jewelry grade Turquoise Nugget with Impressive Veins of Silveris set intothe Bear\'s Paw Print. Resting on both ends of the tie are two large, extremely heavy handmade Silver Pin Finials that are crimped onto the leather tie. Phillip was a member of a Hopi clan and began silverwork in the 1960\'s. This was one ofPhillip\'s earlier works that Dad had purchased on a vacation years ago. This is one ofthreepieces of Native American Jewelryfrom Dad\'s collection which we will be selling on . We will be placing two more fabulous Bolo Ties from other well known Native American artists.

This bolo measures approx. 2 5/8\" long by about 1 7/8\" at its widest.Each of the Heavy, SolidSterling Silver Pin Finials measure approx. 2 1/2\" long. The total length of the Leather Tie measures approx. 37 1/2\". The weight of this fine piece is 83.7 grams.
