This is a beautifully-made vintage Victoria Royal Ltd gown in navy blue with silver paillettes. I\'ve worn it and received many compliments but have outgrown it - so I\'m hoping someone else will dance, swirl and have fun!
The see-through sleeves and top of the bodice are constructed of two layers of net, light flesh color topped by navy. The body of the bodice is double layered (silk?) with hidden seams, and the skirt consists of a layer of bodice material topped by a layer of chiffon then a layer of tulle with silver paillettes.
As noted above, the paillettes at the neckline are tarnished and two are missing. Some paillettes on the body of the dress are tarnished and a few are loose and should be tacked down. The silver layer of the belt is made of a synthetic material that has cracked.
If the dress still fit me, I would wear it \'as is\' but with a new belt in silver or navy.
