Up for your consideration is a rare 1961-1966 Bendix Radio #5TBT-047206. This Radio was made by Bendix for Fomoco for use on 1961 to 1966 FORD F-100, F-250 and F-350 Pickup Trucks. It may fit other applications, as well. Please study the design, style and numbers to make sure that it will work for your project ! This radio is in very nice vintage condition. The chrome has only light surface imperfections and the glass is clean and clear. The Bakelite Knobs are also in great shape. The Dial Tuning gear turns by hand, when the Faceplate is off. It does not move the Tuning Needle when you turn the Knob. The Tuning Belt or gears will need some adjustments. It may need a new gear. As you, probably, know,... these old radios had some \"odd\" mechanisms for tuning ! I tested this radio and it HUMS. However, I do not have a good aerial, and was unable to tune it in.
