This is a vintage 1961 Treasure Chest lunchbox. Overall condition is good, some surface rust and some paint missing on edges and corners as shown. Some scratches as well. Inside of lunchbox does have some paint missing as shown. The latch works good. Thermos is included and is in good condition as shown.

The story behind this lunchbox.....

I inherited a very large lunchbox collection from my father when he passed. He was a life long antique collector who tragically passed in a house fire. Thousands upon thousands of antiques and collectibles perished with him. The lunchbox collection was stored in a separate building and remained safe. After 3 years, I’ve decided to downsize the collection. Please feel free to save me as a seller as I will be selling 100+ vintage lunchboxes of all kinds over time.
