One of a kind vintage signed and dated mixed media woodblock framed sculpture by listed abstract Expressionist artist Maria Vescial. The 10\" x 14\" hand carved and painted thick woodblock is framed with an original teal with gold gilt frame. The piece is not signed but I was told by original owner it\'s title is The Circus. The frame measures 12\"x 19\" x 2\" and is in excellent condition. EBTH here in Cincinnati recently sold two of Maria Vescial\'s oil on canvas works in the $450.00 range. Please google recent results for Maria Vescial. This would fit in any Mid-century Modern design, or in a contemporary design that incorporates Modern Art and sculpture. This is a sculpture and a painting in one, and is very heavy. The original Flair House Galleries 441 Race Street Cincinnati, Ohio tag is on the back.
