You are offerding on 12 Boys\' Life Magazine\',covering all 12 months from January through December in 1965, secured in a heavy cardboard binder. The binder is the official BSA red hard backbinder with metal clasps to keep the magazines together and organized. The magazines appear to be fully intact, asfound in a sale of Boy Scout materials that had been organized and kept by ascoutmaster.
Condition: Good.Magazines representing all twelve months of the year are present in thisbinder, and are in good condition. Thesemagazines have obviously been read and gently used as a resource. All magazine covers and pages are intact andpresent. At the bottom holder, there isa little bar in place (to attach the magazines to the binder). The clip that secures that little bar ismissing, so although the bottom mechanism is present, the bar has play in itthat could cause the magazines to slip out during handling.
As a boy scout inthe1960’s, I remember these magazines.To be honest, as I look at them now, it’s the advertisements that reallyget my memories and imagination going. Everythinga 12 year old would love: BB Guns, Coca Cola, Boy Scout camping stuff,Christmas Card fund raising supplies, model cars, and more.
