Description Excellent Franklin Mint Sterling Silver Christmas plate from 1970. Still in the original 6.5 Ounces troy box with all paperwork. This plate is \"Bringing home the tree\". Blue satin lined the box with 8\" diameter sterling silver plate. The plate is signed \"Norman Rockwell 1970\". Engraved on the front of the plate is a father and son bringing home the Christmas tree.There is a card on how to protect the plate from the Franklin Mint company and a Certificate of Authenticity that is from September 21, 1970. There is also a pamphlet that tells all about the limited edition series and how it came to be.This plate is the first in this series of Christmas plates Norman Rockwell designed for Franklin Mint. It is beautifully done and beautifully packaged.The plate weighs 6.05 Troy ounces.Item#3918
