1970s Crystal Brass Marble Decorative Balance Scales With Prisms:

These retro Italian made decorative scales of justice were popular table top decorations in the 1960s and 1970s, usually with a bunch of soft rubber plastic grapes dangling from each weight. They were often used as candy dishes as well.

The scale stands about 21 inches tall, the antiqued brass balance arms are just over 12\" wide. The ribbed center pieces are transparent crystal. Six double drop crystal prisms dangle from a brass leaf cap below the center. The base is cast brass on a marble mount. The hammered brass hanging plates are 6 inches diameter.

The scales are in excellent condition with no damage. The brass plates could use polishing but there are no dents or dings.
