Authentic vintage Vera Neumann \"Scarves by Vera\" Wrap Skirt. Lovely natural cotton fabric, printed with Vera Neumann designed Modernist pattern made into this authentic early 1970s \"Scarves by Vera\" wrap skirt. Wrap closes with one vintage snap, one vintage hook-n-eye and a wrap around belt that passes through the waistband and is held in place by heavy thread \"belt\" loop. Two labels inside, one on inside seam reads, \"Scarves by Vera\" and one at waist reads, \"Vera, all cotton, dripdry, 12,\" and has a Ladybug on the label. Label says this is a women\'s size 12, but this is not a current day size 12. I would guess this skirt is more like a size 6 - 8, so please check my measurements against a skirt you have that fits well and is measured the same way. When snap and hooked closed and lying flat the waist measures just over 14\" across (outside dimension) and length is approximately 40\" from waist to bottom hem.I had this skirt in storage for many years and have not washed it since unpacking it. There is a small stain on front of skirt close to waist band, which I have included a few closeup photographs of (see darker spot next to penny in pictures). The buttonhole pass-through for the attached fabric belt is somewhat unraveled as seen in closeup photo. This skirt was made in the days before seams were serger sewn, so all seams have one row of stitching and all hems have a single fabric turn with stitching. You can see in a closeup of the skirt hem that the fabric is unraveling close to the stitching. A simple additional hem could be added to stop the unraveling, but I am leaving and selling as-is in original condition.Please see my other vintage listings. Free shipping to U.S.A.
