A signed first edition of Robin Maugham\'s autobiography Escape from the Shadows including a signed letter.

Bound in faux leather with gilt lettering and an unclipped dustwrapper.

With a signed letter from Robin Maugham from 27th September 1972, and a pasted-in card to the front free-endpaper with a signed dedication, for which there is an explanation from Robin Maugham in the letter.

Robert Cecil Romer Maugham, 2nd Viscount Maugham of Hartfield, 1916 - 1981, known as Robin Maugham, was a British novelist, playwright and travel writer.

CONDITION

The binding is tight and firm. There is almost no wear to the extremities. There is bumping and small closed tears, prominent to the top of the front panel. Internally the pages are clean and bright. Overall the condition is fine with a very good dustwrapper.
