This is beautiful silver collector plate that was minted by theGeo. WashingtonMint in 1972 forthe Americana Collection. It istheir first annual plate for this series, and they used \"Uncle Sam - Arsenal of Democracy\", byN. C. Wyethto begin this series of limited editions. Each plate in this series is from the work of N.C. Wyeth. It is a Limited Edition of10,000 and is number 2632. It istitled: Uncle Sam\'s America - the Arsenal of Democracy, and itgraphically portrays the industrial might of America in the midst of WorldWar II.It weighs10 ounces of solid sterling silverand measures 8 inches across. It is marked Sterling on the back.The N. C. Wyeth signature is on the bottom of the plate. This collector plate is in excellent condition and is still sealed in the velvet lined box it came in.This plate is still in the originalblack box and the Certification and Provenance paperwork and the Geo Washington Mint paperwork is included.Serious buyers only, please.Shipping, handling, and insuranceis $15.
