This bible is inspired by the earliest known bible makers that created the bible as an important piece of art. Family heirloom quality.
This bible is bound in a sculptured sterling silver cover containing more than one troy pound of sterling silver. The spine and hinges are also of sterling silver. The cover is an original work of art by Oriol Sunyer, of Barcelona, Spain. The illuminations are from the 14th Century Queen Mary\'s Psalter: this is the first time these 40 illustrations have ever appeared in any printed bible. The bible has a special section for the family genealogy and for the records of future generations. The family section has not been used. Each bible was individually inscribed with the owner\'s family name. The bible contains over 1250 pages.
