From a limited first issue production of 5000, this is a beautiful and highly sought plate by collectors. There is one blemish, a pin-prick blemish on the plate which occurred during the manufacturing of the plate. (On the last photo, I attempted to photograph it, it really does not show up. You have to be looking for it to see it. No issue with the paint, but I wanted a buyer to be aware.)NO original box. Will pack securely and ship in a large 16\" x 18\" x 5\" box to insure safety of delivery. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.
Plate history: Ettore \"Ted\" DeGrazia (1909-1982) received a commission in 1960 to produce cover art for greeting cards distributed by UNICEF. DeGrazia named his famous work \"Los Ninos-Children of the World\". In 1976 the famous painting of this revered Arizona artist was reproduced onto a Limited Edition Gorham Collector\'s Item Plate. The beautiful plate depicts little children “Los Ninos” holding hands and dancing in a large circle. The vibrant colors enhance the beauty of this lovely plate and make it a collectible you will be proud to own!Combined shipping is available.
On Apr-19-15 at 15:13:32 PDT, seller added the following information:I\'ve tried my best to photograph it but with light reflection, it is almost impossible. I added one more photo. First I used a washable marker to indicate where the minute flaw is located. It is in the very center of the circle...a pin prick with a slight raise around it. Then I balanced the plate various ways until I got just the right angle. I hope this helps. As I indicated, hanging on the wall, unless you knew where exactly to look, I don\'t think you could find it.
