1976 MONTREAL OLYMPIC PATCHES

Up for sale are three (3) rare1976 Montreal, Canada Olympic Patches. The patches were issued by the Montreal Olympic Organizing Committee during the 1970s to commemorate and to promote Montreal hosting the Summer Olympic Games in 1976.

In 1969, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) considered three offers from Los Angeles, Montreal and Moscow. Montreal, Quebec, Canada was selected to host the 1976 Summer Olympic Games.

I obtained this patch during the 1980s in Southern California and have retained the patch ever since.

Each patch measures approximately 2.75 inches x 2.75 inches.

The patches are in Excellent Condition (see images and Condition Description above) and have been stored in a smoke-free Environment for over 30 years.
