MUST HAVE STAR WARS!Here it is - THE1976 STAR WARS MYLAR MOVIE POSTER ADVANCE ONE-SHEET!! Thisis the FIRST Star Wars movie poster 1-Sheet (27x41 inches) ever produced. Notice the early pointed W in the Star Wars logo. This was made to promote the film in 1976 before it\'s release to the public. In fact, this poster was made before the film was even completed. Gary Kurtz, Star Wars producer, distributed the majority of these original mylar posters at the science fiction conventions in 1976, in hopes of drumming up interest for the film. Fox sent a FEW of these out to theaters who had pre-booked the film, but only 32 theaters opened Star Wars so not many made it to a cinema. Happily, this one is available to make it on display in your living room.
This is one of the finest examples known to exist. I personally saved it back in the 1970\'s and have stored it flat for all these years between acid-free paper - SO THE POSTER HAS NO CURL! Try and find that anywhere else - YOU WON\'T! All theavailablemylars are spring-loaded with curls - You have to fight with it just to open it. Not this one. Not only that, this poster is in amazing MINT/NearMINT ORIGINAL CONDITION!!Obviously, it\'s never been folded, but more importantly, it\'s not damaged. Almost 100% of the surviving examples of this poster have some kind of heavy creasing or \"delamination\" from mishandling and or poor storage. This does NOT. It has a couple of TINY very minor dings and no other defects. It\'s truly NearMINT and one of the top two or thee examples I\'ve ever hear of.
