On this same day, November 18, 1978, several members of the original Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeers were also in attendance... including Annette Funicello... as well as the \"new\" Mouseketeers that were featured on syndicated television throughout that year (Lisa Whelchel, et al)

Logo design for the pinback button was created by Disney Legend WARD KIMBALL... and design was also used on street lamp signs throughout the park. The logo was used throughout Disneyland as part of their 1978 tribute to Walt Disney\'s creation of Mickey Mouse. The pin was a favorite and immediately recognizable piece of Disney history across several decades.
