This listing is for a modernist wood sculptured stash box by Deborah B. Bump. It is in the shape of a hippo with a 2 section hidden drawer. The use of the wood grain is excellent and highlights features of the hippo like the top of his jaw. There are indentations for eyes and nostrils otherwise the clean round lines make the design strong yet simple. This piece was made in 1978 and is signed on the bottom. It also has 11/89 which I am interpreting to mean how many were made. Measures 5.25 x 7.75 x 4.5I ship US only - Paypal only - No returns so please message me with questions.
