Here\'s the 1979 Krewe of Nefertari 5th Anniversary Antique Bronze Hexagon 32 mm or 1 1/4\" in diameter and is in Fair Condition. Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note: The obverse features the Nefertari Logo. The reverse reads \"FIFTH ANNIVERSARY. This doubloon was designed by Blaine Kern Artists of New Orleans and made in West Germany. The Krewe of Nefertari was founded in 1974. They held their first parade and issued their first full compliment of doubloons in 1975. They celebrated their 5th Anniversary in 1979 which is commemorated by these Special Antique Bronze Mini Doubloons. This doubloon does have some tarnish on both its obverse and reverse, but is still much nicer than it appears in the photos! Great Piece of Nefertari and Mardi Gras Memorabilia! The Doubloon Guide lists this doubloon at $15.00. (Unless specifically described as \'toning\' any Gold, Green, Purple or Blue Hues seen on any item are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
