Iam pleased to offerthis old and original, lot of 1980 Franklin Mint, Birds of the World, Miniature plate collection.The Birds of the World Miniature Plate Collection by the Franklin Mint was issued in limited edition by the National Audubon Society in 1980 to commemorate its 75th anniversary.There are 20 pieces, each about 1\" in diameter. These are sterling silver, with a combined weight of about 85 grams. The condition is about excellent, with very minor scratching, wear and tiny dings. This is not a complete set. I believe a complete set is 25 pieces. Great display potential, however, no shelf, certificate or information cards. Total weight is about 56 grams. Each spoon has a monogram. The condition is about very good, with wear, light scratching and tiny bowl edge dings commensurate with age and use. No deep gouges or signs of abuse. They need to be polished. A lovely set of spoons. The photos are an integral part of my description. They will give an accurate representation, andbest tell the story. View all pics following my description.
