Ornaments have been displayed and used but are in excellent condition. Each ornament includes literature describing the ornament design for that year. If you enlarge the photograph of the boxes, you will see that the 1981 & 1982 boxes show some wear on the edges from storage. The 1984 box has a small white spot and the 1985 box appears to have a smudge. The ornaments are beautiful and will look lovely on your family Christmas Tree
