The doubloon measures 39 mm or1 1/2\" indiameterandis in ExcellentCondition. Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note:The obversefeaturesthe Rex Logo. Thereverse features an Angel clutching a Large Book of Poetryand reads \"ARS POETICA...1981.\"This doubloon was designed by Blaine Kern Artists of New Orleans and made in West Germany. The doubloon has \"999\" stamped into its edge at the 6 o\'clock position. The 2016 Doubloon Guide lists this doubloon at $75.00. (Unless specifically described as toning, the gold, green, blue and purple hues seen on any item are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
