Very original presenting example ~ not many leftlike this one!

Here is a really interestinglyoriginal presenting Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit finished in Light Ocean Blue (metallic)with Navy Connolly hide interior. The twin fine lines to the waist-rails arehand-painted in dark blue gold. The car is a very clean and original example ofa Spirit, not perfect, but very high marks for originality and cleanlinessthroughout. Very nice indeed. This particular example has had the ugly US spec headlights replaced for the correct \"Euro spec\" front headlights making the car look as the designers intended and giving her a far more modern appearance. The car has had the hubcaps changed to those from the Silver Spur model (please enquire if you prefer the car supplied with the standard Silver Spirit hubcaps with body colour matching beauty rings - see pic comparison below).

The Rolls-Royce SilverSpirit is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine with the Boschfuel injection system which provides ultra smooth touring.This one is a well maintained example with good collector-status ownershipshowing a low 66,700 miles. It has recently been thru Park-Ward\'s workshop andanything requiring doing was attended to including all the hydraulics andbraking system inspected and overhauled as required (pumps, accumulators, gassprings, etc). Mechanically, this car needs nothing. Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. It hasnot been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life.The car sports 235/75 15 whitewall tyres on original Rolls-Royce steel wheelswith the optional Silver Spur stainless steel hub caps.

The body of the car is straight and the paintnice and shiny. The car was completely repainted some 10 years ago and rarelyused since so she presents very consistently, deep in lustre with almost noimperfections. There are no dents or dings (I apologise the bonnet was notclosed properly at the time of photos). Rubbers, mouldings, badges and externalfittings are all in good condition. Glass is excellent.The interior on this car is extra nice and very original in presentation. TheConnolly leather shows beautifully. The entire interior is original and has notbeen redyed but for a small part on the front seat cushions. All the wood inthe car is completely original which is not often seen on these early Spiritsand Spurs. There are hairlines in the lacquer but these are not really that badand for some reason they show up a lot more in the photos than you notice inreal like. A perfectionist would have them re-done by us but I think theoriginality outweighs doing so, in my opinion. Carpets, seats, dash, rearparcel shelf, head-liner, fixtures and fittings are truly excellent and I bestencourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how nicely theinterior presents.As part of Park-Ward\'s maintenance program, all major electricals and features& functions are inspected and serviced so everything is operating as itshould; windows, seats, mirrors, central locking, A/C, heater, lights, wipers,etc. each independently and meticulously serviced. This is guaranteed. A true, \"takethe keys and drive\" example with no additional budget needed to attend toany nuances or gremlins.The car is of very high standard and is an easy 10+ out of 10 driver rating.She is a very pretty example of the early Spirit model with few left remainingin this condition these days.

~~ This is a very elegant presenting Silver Spirit in \"Light OceanBlue\" that looks great in all settings. She would make a wonderful weekenddriver or to add to a British collection representing the marque of the early1980s. ~~

When our Rolls-Royces and Bentleys are commissioned forresale, they are indeed professionally and correctly “fully work-shopped”. Nocorners are cut. And it is all addressed in true Crewetradition. There is way too much to list here but to give you an example of ourcommitment to excellence of the various processes, this is one such example ofwhat we do:

Doors and windows:-

Every car has its interior door panels removed. If the woodis in need of repair (as most are) it is refinished in-house by trained andtalented craftsmen at Park-Ward Motors. This is a detailed process of strippingthe wood of its old lacquer, repairing the veneer if there is damage, stainingthe top surface as per Rolls-Royce methodology and refinishing with no lessthan 25 coats of clear lacquer. Hand wet-sanded and polished between all of itslast 15 coats. New window felt guides and wood-to-glass foam seals are fitted.All window mechanisms are checked and serviced for smooth and efficient up anddown movement. This includes an electrical modification to rectify the typical“slow window syndrome”. All tracks, chains and gears are lubricated. Wherecentral locking is fitted, these are all serviced to ensure no “solenoidsticking”, another common problem. Units are repaired and or changed asrequired for refurbished units. Door wiring and door-to-body wiring is checked,repaired and/or replaced as required. The splash plastic on the inside of thedoors to protect the leather panels from rain splash from inside the door isreplaced with correct specification black plastic as used by the factory. Cutto shape and glued in position as per original. All door hardware is checkedand repaired as required including locks, handles and scuttle finishes. Thedoor is reassembled with all items cleaned and polished. The wood refitted andthe leather panels are re-Connollised before final fitment.

Take this example and apply it to the many, many differentaspects of Rolls-Royce restoration, service and maintenance and you have ourdedication to correct and professional vehicle pre-delivery preparation andcommissioning.

Please note, fitted radio/stereo systems areusually subject to upgrade by purchasers so I do not ensure operation of these.Similarly, cruise control systems fitted to these classics were of an inferiordesign and I do not check or warrant the operation of these. Suspension andbrakes on these cars are complex. We thoroughly check them and replace thingsthat are identified faulty. But please understand, by example; if we change abrake line because it appears aged or faulty, we do NOT at the same timereplace all other hoses because they are of similar age. This is considered\"preventative maintenance\". We do not do this unless specificallyrequested and is not included in the purchase price. Feel free to ask for thisadditional service. Further, a feature or function that is working perfectlyone moment, may decide to play-up the next. After all, it is some 34 years old.This is the nature of any classic car and especially a Rolls-Royce which wasvery \"complicated\" for its era. For this reason it is necessary forthe following condition:

The vehicle is being sold \"as-is/where-is\" with no warrantyexpressed, written or implied. Further,Rolls-Royces are not without nuances, idiosyncrasies and they are renown for ahost of design issues which can make them not inexpensive to maintain. This iswell documented in many circles. You need to be a special and considerate typeof purchaser to own a Rolls-Royce. Their down-side is part of the fun in owningthem! As the old saying goes; \"we love to hate them and hate to lovethem!\" So, please respect the terms and conditions when you offer.
