THE PORTFOLIOS of ANSEL ADAMS, introduction by John Szarkowski, published in 1981 by New York Graphic Society. First published in 1977, this is an updated and redesigned printing which takes advantage of new technologies. Adams personally supervised the printing.

Contains seven \"portfolios\" of his photography. From 1948 to 1976 Adams produced seven portfolios, each a limited edition of from 10 to 15 photographs. This book reproduces all 90 of these images, including some of his most famous landscape photographs. Some of the photographs include:
