This is a used pre owned vintage Royal Doulton Toby Jug D6667 \"Macbeth\" Shakesperian Collection. He was issued between 1982 and 1989. A Royal Doulton produced toby jug in the form of Macbeth, the lead character in the play \"Macbeth\", written by William Shakespeare. It is part of the Shakesperian Collection. The handle is fashioned as the heads of the three witches from the play. He is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. He is 4 1/2 inches high and the base measures 6 inches at its widest point. We bought a Royal Doulton Character jug collection from a local collector and we\'re putting them up on . I believe this wonderful Royal Doulton Character jug will appreciate in value, as well as give great pleasure and pride of ownership to anyone fortunate enough to own it. ~ Macbeth ~Macbeth is a play written by William Shakespeare. It is considered one of his darkest and most powerful tragedies. Set in Scotland, the play dramatizes the corroding psychological and political effects produced when its protagonist, the Scottish lord Macbeth, chooses evil as the way to fulfill his ambition for power. He commits regicide to become king and then furthers his moral descent with a reign of murderous terror to stay in power, eventually plunging the country into civil war.
