Please NOTE that the above described part was taken from a 1985 Yamaha XV700 Virago as stated, and most parts from the 1985-1886 Yamaha XV700\'s do interchange do interchange and also some parts between the 700 750 and 1000 Virago models do interchange, but not all do. With that said ff you are interested in this part for a different year or model bike then a 1985 Yamaha Virago XV700 please make sure it will fit your application before purchasing as we can not guarantee which parts do or do not interchange and we can not accept returns on used parts. As per Iowa laws and as is considered to be a market place facilitator the sales taxes are collected, held, and remitted to the state of Iowa by so we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause, but again as a seller we have no control over this as is now collecting the tax and remitting it.

Gas or Fuel TANK buyers USA ONLY:

Please NOTE: Gas or fuel tank sales are only open to buyers in the lower 48 US States. We do NOT ship gas tanks outside of the US without exception as we have tried 3 times and all 3 times they were stopped by customs as hazardous or dangerous items just do to fumes as they were completely dry. We are happy to ship any other item world wide, but just not gas tanks. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

We do require payment in full within 7 days of purchase weather through an saleor if you use a Buy It Now option. If you have any trouble making payment or have any questions about how to make payment please email us for assistance. On INTERNATIONAL ORDERS we can accept PAY PAL PAYMENTS ONLY.

Shipping and Combined Shipping Discounts:

We ship items out within one business day of receiving payment. Items which are paid for on Fridays will generally be shipped out the following Monday, unless the payment is received early Friday morning in which case we may still be able to ship the item out Friday afternoon. We are unable to ship on any US holiday in which the USPS is closed, but we will ship the very next possible business day. We are also unable to ship on Saturdays or Sundays as our local USPS in our small town of 2,000 is closed those days.

We do pride ourselves on quick shipping here and on getting your items shipped out and on the way to you, but please do NOTE that the USPS makes NO GUARANTEES on arrival times of any package regardless if it is shipped Priority, Ground, or First Class. They only make \"estimates\" on arrival times. Generally most items arrive quickly without issue, but shipping delays caused by the USPS or by the Global Corona Pandemic we have all been affected by can and do happen and shipping delays are beyond our control but all packages do arrive eventually. With that said we can not be responsible for any delays caused by the USPS and make no guarantees on arrival times as we can not issue any refund on shipping once an item has been sent out.

Also Please NOTE that as an seller we are now charged final value fees not only on the item purchased, but also on the shipping fees by both and Pay Pal so we do have to include those fees in the shipping rate. To clarify that means that what you pay for shipping your package is NOT the actual amount we receive. Furthermore please know that we are not a one man operation and do incur many more costs in packaging and handling to get an item from our shelf to your door then just what the USPS charges.

We ship nearly all of our US items via USPS Priority mail unless otherwise stated in the listing. If you would like to have an item that has Priority shipping listed on the listing to be shipped via USPS Ground instead please email us for a rate and if a lower cost ground rate is an option we will be happy to give you a quote.International shipments are generally shipped via USPS First Class Mail International except on items or shipments weighing over four pounds. When the shipment is over four pounds and being shipped outside of the US it is shipped via USPS Priority Mail international as that is what is required by the USPS.

We do give a shipping discount on multiple item purchases. For US shipping we guarantee a minimum of $4 off on shipping on each item purchased after the first (When all being shipped together), sometimes we will give an even larger discount depending on size and quantity of purchased items. We will also give a shipping discount on international orders with more than one item, but those discounts will be done on a case by case basis. If you are offerding on multiple items please wait to pay until all of the items you are offerding on have ended, and until you have received a combined invoice from us reflecting the reduced shipping. If you have any questions regarding our shipping policies or regarding shipping discounts then please ask.

US Shipping Insurance And / Or A Damaged Item

Anything shipped via USPS Priority Mail inside the US is insured for up to $50. With that said if you receive an item that has been damaged, or if your package arrives empty, or even if your package does not arrive at all and seems to be lost please email us to let us know. We will contact the USPS since as the shipper that is part of our service, and as per guidelines it is the sellers job to deal with the the carrier on shipping issues. If there is damage we will need you to please email us pictures of the damage to the item as well as pictures of the packaging showing the address and tracking number as proof of the damage to your item or package so we can file a claim for that said damage. Again we need clear pics of both the damaged item and the packaging showing the address and tracking number. You may also be asked to take the damaged item with the packaging into your local USPS to be inspected so do NOT discard the item or the packaging as sometimes the USPS requires inspection by a local office. This is not our rule but the rule of the USPS. Please NOTE that only the item itself is insured! The shipping cost is NOT insured, and is NOT refundable as per the USPS rules and guidelines. We have tried to argue this point with the USPS, but they do NOT refund shipping even if the item that was shipped is damaged or even destroyed.

Also please NOTE that any item that is shipped via USPS Retail Ground or economy has NO INSURANCE on it for damage or loss, and if the item being shipped economy or ground is damaged in shipping we are not responsible for the damage as it is beyond our control. If you would like to add insurance to a USPS ground shipment please contact us to let us know and get a quote so we can add the insurance to your order as it is always a good idea to do so but there will be a small additional charge.

Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam:

PleaseNOTE: These areas will be subject to a higher shipping fee then the one that is posted on the listing on LARGER items that can not be shipped flat rate. For example seats, windshields, front forks, etc. We have to list with one flat rate fee for the entire US, but it is obviously higher to ship to your areas from here in the center of the US (Iowa) so there will be an extra charge. To find out what actual shipping will be to your address PLEASE email us for a quote. I apologize for the inconvenience, but that is how the shipping rates work.
