VERY RARE - \"Official\" 5 Piece VIP Gold / Silver / Bronze Presidential Inaugural Medal Set from 1989 (struck by Medallic Art Co.) for President George HW Bush.

Each of the 5 medals are serially numbered #33 on the edge.

Large Bronze medal is 70 mm in size, Large Silver medal (edge marked .999 fine Silver) is 63 mm in size, smaller .999 proof Silver is 38 mm in size. Smaller bronze medal is also 38 mm in size. Gold medal is approx 27 mm in size (edge marked 14k Gold ) . All five medals are in excellent MINT condition and housed in a plush custom display case as seen and as issued by the \"official\" Presidential Inaugural Committee in 1989 .

Only 123 of these 5 piece 1989 \"Official Gold Inaugural Medal\" sets were issued by the Official Inaugural Committee in 1989 with thefirst 50 sets (this is set number 33) reserved for Inaugural Committee members and the family members of President Bush and Vice President Quayle. To get another low numbered set below 50 is extremely difficult as other owners may not want to part with what they have.
