1997W $2 bimetallic Toonie coin

Thislisting is for the 1997W Toonie coin which was taken from the prooflike or PL set. The 1997 Winnipeg PL set has a more frosted finish on the reverse image of the toonie than does the toonie from the Ottawa mint set. The toonie in this set is from the Winnipeg PL set. ***Note that there is NO \"W\" mint mark on the 1997 toonie (from both mints!!). This coin is struck in brilliant uncirculated finish. It weighs 7.3 grams and is 28 mm in diameter. The outer ring is nickel and the inner core is a copper/aluminum/nickel alloy. The coin comes to you in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder.
