1999 Avon \"Santa Read Me A Letter\" was purchased, stored and never used. Because of being in storage, I took Santa out of the box, put batteries in it and I also had to take one of the books out of the wrapper to use one to place in his hands. A book must be plugged in his hand to make him work. Turned on switch and he works great. None of the other items were ever removed from packaging ( they are a Rocking Horse, Santa\'s Bag, Teddy Bear and Deer Head Book Stand). Santa figurine measures approx. 12\" high and 9 3/4\" diam. around bottom base. Instruction Sheet and Original Box and packing is included. Takes (3) C Batteries, Not Included.
