Thislisting is for a 19th century French bronze and enamel table top mirror with cherub figures. The mirror measures 14 inches or 35.5 cm high, and is 10 inches or 25.5 cm at its widest. The mirror itself measures 8 by 6 inches or 20.5 by 15 cm.
The mirror features two cherubic figures standing at the base holding the base of the mirror. The mirror is oval in form with an engraved and enameled border around the mirror itself. The enamel border has a polychrome floral vine design. At the top of the mirror frame is a fancy cartouche with a two ribbons and flowers draping over the top. The mirror at the center is oval with a beveled edge. The back has an easel back and a loop at the top to hang. The bronze has a dark gold patina or color which is all original to the piece.
The condition is very good. The frame has darkening to patina, and the there is some minor spotting to the mirror around the outside edge. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description.
