Here is a 19 C, probably early 1800\'s large treenware shallow serving bowl!
Early in its life there was a split in the bowl from wood shrinkage.The bowl is in original mustard paint, the paint is old but I believe not as old as the bowl itself,as there is an old metal repair from the split, running lengthwise & the mustard paint was added after...(please look at pics)
Besides wood & paint wear, & mentioned split & repair, it is in very good condition...
Measures 17-3/4\" x18-3/4\" x 3\"h.
A great bowl for a primitive collection!!
