Found at an estate sale: here is a fine late 19th century Japanese Satsuma cabinet vase. The baluster form vase is elaborately decorated in hand painted polychrome enamels with gilt accents and geometric design trim banded in deep cobalt blue. Featured is a charming landscape with overhanging plum blossoms. Signed on the base.Excellent condition, no cracks or chips, with the most minimal wear to the gild.
