Clark Museum: This is one of the lost art works, St. Mary Magdalene,by Pompeo Batoni (1708-1787).

Batoni’s original oilpainting was destroyed in the Second World War, duringthree allied bombing raids of Dresden between February 13 and 14, 1945.
