Description:This sale is for a fine, beautifully carved Chinese wood box. Likely made in Canton, this box dates to the 19th century. The top and all 4 sides have well carved scenes. The box was lined with velvet likely in the 20th century.

Age: This beautifully carved box dates to the 19th century.

Size: The box measures 20.4 cm. (8 1/16\") x 10.8 cm. (4 1/4\") x 9.6 cm. (3 3/4\") tall.Condition: The box is in very good condition. There is a shallow chip on the back near the hinge (see close-up photo). The bottom has an old, very tight age line (see close-up photos). Key is absent. Please see all photos as they are an integral part of the description.
