You are offerding on an antique19th C. Chinesefamille rose porcelain brush washer converted into an inkwell. Thewasher converted byusingfinely engraved early-20th century French sterling silver mounts featuring flowers, bats, birds and insectsmade by French silversmith: \'Paul Guillon (active, 1899 - 1924) and retailed by: Maquet Paris-Nice\'. The item is marked: \'PG\' under the lid and \'MAQUET PARIS-NICE\' atthe rim as seen in photos.The porcelain washer features three standing Chineseboys, and the interior of the washer is decoratedwith bats and a large Chinese character/s in iron-red (please see 7th image).

Overall condition is very good. Some surface wear as shown, one boy figure headless, lid slightly bent as well as the finial, bottom silver mount re-mended to porcelain base, silver tarnished, dirty/dusty from years of storage, needs cleaning. More photos on request!
