This listing is fora gorgeous early 19th Century EnglishSterling Silverteapot made during the George III period, c. 1816.

This beautifulteapot has an oval shaped body withseveral horizontal bands pm shoulder area of the body with a embossed panel ribbed lower body. Pot sits on fourround ball feet and has a nicely shaped spout and handle with applied finger hold. The lid\'s hinge isperfect, however, the lid is slightly warped and doesn\'t closetightly. Lid has a concave shaped top with panel ribs below the oval embossed decoratedfinial that attaches with a screw through the top of the lid. This tea pot holds about four pints and is a nice size for use by an individual who still enjoys the finer things of lifeincluding afternoon tea.

Measures 5 1/8\" high (to top of finger hold on handle), 10 1/3\" wide (from spout to handle) and 5 1/4\" deep. Weighs 565 grams.

Marked with English hallmarks for \"London, Sterling\", date code for 1816 and illegible maker\'s stamp with initials \"H.S.\". Hallmarks are crisp and are located on base. Lid also stamped with hallmarks for Sterling and date letter for 1816.

The tea potis in very good to excellent Estate condition with no major dentsor dings and reflectis only minor wear as expected fromage and normal use.
