A huge amount of storage possibilities is found in this Gorgeous 19th century Flamed Mahogany Empire Victorian Triple SectionArmoire Wardrobe Linen Press. Beautiful scroll, fruit & nut carvings adorn the top of this armoire with recessed panels of mahogany on the doors. This is a remarkable piece featuring storage drawers with early hand-cut dovetailing at the center portion and pull out shelving at each side portion. We believe this piece to be a transitional piece from Empire to early Victorian era. The finish appears to be original and there is a key that works the door on the right but the other locks appear stuck. The sliding shelves have been added at some point in time making this piece a grand storage center for clothing and linens measuring almost 95 inches wide! Its in fabulous antique condition with very few apologies noted.
