Displayis a Gorgeous Gilded Louis XVI Corbeille Settee, dated: late 19th toearly 20th Century. Barrel shaped caned with bench seating in cottonmuslin fabric. Centered pierce carving with intricate ribbon floral motif,framed with C scrolls. Very unique and “rare to find” with a scallop shapeframe and canted form, held by very fine tapered fluted legs. Original gilding whichis muted and all handcrafted, don’t expect it to be asymmetric, however chairsare very proportional in form.
