19th Century FrenchOld Paris PorcelainHand Painted Floral Plate with Wild Rose

Up for sale is a stunning antique Old Paris porcelain hand painted luncheon or cabinet plate.

It measures 9-1/2\" in diameter with a scalloped, reticulated and embossed border heavily accented with gold.

The bright white porcelain features a beautifully rendered wild rose at the center, with exquisitely shaded petals, buds and leaves.

The shoulder of the well is accented with raised enamel in a vibrant shade of turquoise.

All of the decoration, including the intricate gilt work, is rendered entirely by hand.The back side is unmarked.

The plate is in excellent antique condition with a high gloss, brilliant colors, and no chips, cracks or stains. There is some minor wear to the gold and a couple of tiny firing dots in the well, characteristic of the age.
